About Our Work

At Overbrook West Neighbors (OWN), our stated mission is to accomplish 3 things –

1 – To care for the needs of our neighbors, especially those who are most vulnerable – older adults & seniors, children and young people, and anyone with a physical or health condition.

2 – Serve as the Registered Community Organization (RCO) for the geographic boundaries of our Overbrook community addressing all zoning concerns; and

3 – Implement physical improvements and enhance commerce on the Upper Lancaster Avenue Business Corridor between 52nd Street and 63rd Street.
