Welcome to Overbrook!
Established in 2018
We are Overbook West Neighbors (OWN), a community development corporation serving the Overbrook community of West Philadelphia. We are a partnership of concerned community stakeholders – neighbors, business leaders, faith leaders, everyone Overbrook – all working together to keep our Overbrook neighborhood safe, clean, and organized. Our target area is bordered by 56th Street (east), 63rd Street (west), Lancaster Avenue (north) and Lansdowne Avenue (south).
OWN focuses on enhancing commerce on the Upper Lancaster Avenue Business Corridor, working with residents and stakeholders to improve our quality of life, and serving as the Registered Community Organization (RCO) to address all zoning concerns.
We are proud of the history and the place that Overbrook holds in Philadelphia. A stable middle class community of neighbors who work very hard, own their homes, raise their children and take pride in where they live. We Are #Overbrook Proud!
